Had a wonderful Ipoh-Makan-Trip on last Friday. Thanks to Calintz, Alice and Sheryn!!! I am the useless one, somehow.. 
Our journey started at 7am, 1st stop is dim sum at 明閣 (Ming Kok). Not really special, they don't even have sweet black sauce to match with the dim sum, unlike KL. Furthermore, the 燒賣 (Siao Mai) unbelievably small. Fortunately, brother Ben was there to pay the bill. So nice of him, "Thank you, Ben Ko Ko..."
FYI, we had a list on hand to visit in Ipoh. I think it was introduced via New Tide.
Next stop, famous Ipoh White Coffee.

There are way too many famous white coffee shops, hence we picked one Alice recommended. But it's a bit tooo sweet to drink it without ice~
After white coffee, was time to have lunch. So, we headed to have curry mee, not in our printed list, recommended by Alice again~ but this one is really stunning!!! stunningly delicious. 3 of us finished it even though dim sum we had earlier still yet to be digested.

Dim sum, white coffee, curry mee, taufu fa... of course, dessert is a must after a meal!
奇峰豆腐花 Funny Mountain
A bit disappointed. RM0.80 for a little and it is not that special. We can have it in KL. Well-known is not equal to delicious.. Statement is proven.
As this Taufu Fa shop is nearby to the shops we were required and wanted to buy. Hence we parked our car at one side and walked around for our "souvenirs".
Sin Eng Heong kaya puff, tasty!!! 3 of us bought 70 pieces, waited for an hour.
Ipoh famous salted chicken. Guess how many we bought altogether? 19!!
scary, huh?? i think so loh. luckily there are only 3 of us, as car boot already full up with this chickens and puffs. Each of us spent minimum RM80 just to buy these.
芳記花生糊 Hong Kee Mah Chee
Yummy!!! Mah Chee is soft and full with crunchy peanut~ The Peanut cream also can taste lots of peanut in it, unlike the sesame we had earlier in the dim sum restaurant.
Calintz wanted to buy Roasted Duck before we headed back to KL. But unfortunately the shop will re-open at 5.30pm only. We *lepak at Alice's house for a while before we started our journey back home. For sure, we wanted to stop at Bidor for Duck noodle, as it is just on the way.
Believe it or not, this big duck drumstick + noodle is at RM6.60 only.
After dinner, time to relax~ We were in the mood of "cooking" ourselves!!! Sungkai Hot Spring, here we come!!

Specially thanks to Alice. Without you, we cannot enjoy our trip this much!!! Don't think we are able to try 7-8 well-known foods out of 10 in our list. So, be prepared, we may call you again next time we go Ipoh for *makan trip!!
