Sharing: Wisdom

Recently, in a large French city, a poster featuring a young, thin and tanned woman appeared in the window of a gym.

It said: "THIS SUMMER DO YOU WANT TO BE A MERMAID OR A WHALE?"

A middle aged woman, whose physical characteristics did not match those of the woman on the poster, responded publicly to the question posed by the gym.

To Whom It May Concern:

Whales are always surrounded by friends (dolphins, sea lions, curious humans). They have an active sex life, they get pregnant and have adorable baby whales. They have a wonderful time with dolphins, stuffing themselves with shrimp. They play and swim in the seas, seeing wonderful places like Patagonia, the Barren Sea and the coral reefs of Polynesia.

Whales are wonderful singers and have even recorded CDs. They are incredible creatures and virtually have no predators other than humans. They are loved, protected and admired by almost everyone in the world.

Mermaids don't exist. If they did exist, they would be lining up outside the offices of Argentinean psychoanalysts due to identity crisis. Fish or human? They don't have a sex life because they kill men who get close to them, not to mention how could they have sex? Therefore they don't have kids either. Not to mention who wants to get close to a girl who smells like a fish store?

The choice is perfectly clear to me; I want to be a whale.

P.S. We are in an age when media puts into our heads the idea that only skinny people are beautiful, but I prefer to enjoy an ice cream with my kids, a good dinner with a man who makes me shiver and a coffee with my friends.

With time we gain weight because we accumulate so much information and wisdom in our heads that when there is no more room it distributes out to the rest of our bodies.

So we aren't heavy, we are enormously cultured, educated and happy. Beginning today, when I look at my butt in the mirror I will think, "Good gosh, look how smart I am!"

Oh, i really hate my current bosses, the Malay side of it.
Holy shit, God bless them, please send all of them to hell!!!

They are so unreasonable. so so so orang utan!!
arghhhhh!! hate them.
i will sure close a big deal and resign after i receive all the commission.

long time no see

i have been very very very very busy recently.
Because of the work load,because of the stress and because of the entertainment.

Entertaining bosses, entertaining customers, entertaining colleagues.
Lots of programmes nowadays, but tired as well.
Seems 8hours of sleep is never enough...

sigh...

bless me. wish me luck on closing sales.
as yet to close one sale after joined for 3 months.

Happy B'day 2009

B'day again~~~~
Used to like to celebrate b'day but not anymore as my age is increasing every year...
won't even pause for a year... sad~

Nevertheless, i shall keep young and energetic forever even though time does leave its trail on me... =P

The earliest celebration this year is with Jessy them loh. Got the present early too.

Of course there was b'day celebration. On Sat morning, we went Karaoke at Neway 1U.
Everyone was complaining it was too early, from 11am - 1pm.
So i was the first one to reach. So i sent a sms to all my friends who is joining

"Who reaches here earlier than others will be my best friend forever."

hehe... showed up 15mins after 11am then . sigh.. as usual, was the last one to reach.
We had a great time together..

Then we decided to go "fishing" at Quattro last night.
Together with Michael, Gordon, Jacky Pee them. A fun night to remember!

Besides the b'day dinner (Thanks to ), brunch (Thanks to ) and clubbing celebration (Thanks to Michael, Gordon, Jacky Pee, Ong Poh Seng & Ket) with my dearest friends, I received the following wishes from others, I am so happy and touched.

Stupid superiors i have here

从来不曾对上司发过脾气。 只是这一次，我忍无可忍啦!!!!

我告诉你哦, 我很感激这间公司给我一个机会尝试新的工作环境.
可是, 进来后, 我才发觉事实并不如表面般华丽, 好玩!
因为这边的上司没脑子的!!! 我超级, 非常, 万分般讨厌他们.
什么ASM,HOS的!! 全部曾经自己是个老板.
结果呢??? 还不是沦落到别人家的公司上班.

他们真的很过分, 自己不爽的时候, 可以拿你来开刀.
然后再说是你的attitude问题.
哇!!!! 你要怎么说都行的啦!!!

我不会这么轻易就被打败的!! 我看衰这间公司在你们这群王八的带领下是不会赚钱的!!!!!
我会找个client签份大金额的proposal回来，然后辞职！！
到别家做，然后签份更大金额的proposal show 给他们看, 不是我没做工.
是他们这群笨蛋+傻瓜+王八的问题!!!!

Friend -> Colleague -> ???

i got sooooo much to spit. soooo much to share.
soooo much to grumble about.

It's easier to be friend than colleague?
but i do agree that it's easier to be friend than housemate lah.
Better to meet everyday than stay together, there will be more arguments if become housemate.

like me and Emily. we used to be sooooo close, we like to chit chat, like to shop together,
like to club and "kao zai" together.
but now.... not anymore.
i wonder what have change us? or just me, is the problem?

the longer i befriend with her, the deeper i know her as friend, the less likey i have towards her.
why ah? sorry for being too straight, Emily, if you happen to read this blog.
Emily is a very easy-going person, YES-girl.
Too easy-going is the problem, i think.

Like yesterday, we went for belated b'day dinner for her at Cafe Cafe with Ket.
Just the 3 of us. I ordered a red wine as i have lose to him for a bet.
Later that night, she had very bad gastric till cannot drive home after sent Ket to LRT station to pick his car.
After we finished the whole bottle of wine, then only she informed us that she can't take wine.
As she'll have gastric after that.
i have nothing more to say but @$#%$%^&&*&^()

It is your body. We don't know you can't drink red wine unless you tell.
Why force yourself to drink if you already know the consequences????!!!!!
No one will blame you for not drinking that red wine!!!!
i don't want to be your nanny, to take care of everything for you.
to filter everything for you. to force you to eat, to force you to tell us what you can't do or don't feel like fancy the ideas!!

aiyoyo... i feel like commiting suicide lah!
Now ah, almost 1/2 of our colleagues cannot *tahan her character already.
She is not like that last time while we were still with Sony.
What happen????
Even also can feel the changes between us.....
Hope our friendship last no matter how. I can still befriend, just may not be that close anymore if we're colleague...

Go-Kart at Stadium Shah Alam + cont..

Emily's customer Edihad Airway is having sort of charity go-kart competition at Stadium Shah Alam. They called it Media Day.
We all suppose to pair up with 1 orphan from Semenyih orphanage.

IT WAS FUN!!!!

i like it. We raced at least 10 laps for the qualifying round.
Then 15 are qualified to the final race. It happens that my name is at 15th out of 20. hehe
then we race 12 laps to get to win Ferrari limited edition cap.
Of course, i won't be the first for the race and luckily not the last lah.
But i'm at 14th =p

Fun and quite suffering at the same time.
You know lah, when you're racing, the kart is so vibrant!! Til i almost puke.
Then now, I'm having muscle pain again~ sigh~

Emily asked Leon Tan to represent her to take part in the competition and he got a 2nd place.
He's the guy i used to like so much!
but now married and with a 2-year-old daughter named Kyra.
We went for Hoegarden after that and 3 of us drank till faces red like rose then we go Taman Sea for bittergourd bitter meal. :(
i know bittergourd is good for health, good for beauty, good for detox....
but i really cannot take that lah, too bitter!!
In the end we all didn't finish the whole dishes, partly 3 of us are drunk (a bit lah) .
i think the other part is because our stomach are damn full after 3 pints of Hoegarden and 4 bottles of Hoegarden, the Forbidden Fruit.

Anyway, i am happy and enjoy the go-kart today.
it is a memorable day~~~
